How do you clean wax out of melter, ready for next use or a new type of wax?
Answer This Question
After completely pouring out the remaining wax, wipe it clean with a dry cloth, then put water into the bucket and boil it for 3-5 minutes. Pour it out completely again and wipe it clean with a cloth.

Please prepare the wax, cut it into pieces, put it into the wax melting bucket, set the temperature at 80~90℃, and wait for the wax to melt completely, then close the wax melting bucket and stop heating, wait for the wax temperature to reach about 75℃, add the fragrance, stir for one minute, and then pour it into the desired container.

Should have read the other reviews about the temperature. To save you some trouble as to decide whether you are willing to deal with all of this, and also to remind myself how to use this, I am including the instructions from Customer Support here: "There are the following precautions when using this product: This is because of the characteristics of wax after melting, and the temperature will quickly increase after the wax is completely melted. Therefore, we recommend setting the temperature to about 10 ℃ higher than the melting point of the wax, and then stirring continuously during the melting process, so that the temperature will be relatively stable; The temperature of this machine may have a positive or negative error, so it is best to measure it with another thermometer. Cooling should be done by pouring out the container and not placing it in a bucket, as the residual temperature after heating inside the bucket does not dissipate so quickly."

Leaking issue
I purchased this pot to melt candle wax. It worked fine for about two months, then it started to leak. The bolt that connect to the spout doesn't stay on tight which caused oil to leak out. Oil is also leaking out from the bottom in certain places. I hope I can return or get a replacement.

Works great
This helps melt my wax faster than a double boiler! I am able to produce my candle turn around by 40%! The 4 star was because it arrived damaged, it did not fit in the box properly. Damaged probably due to shipping. Recommendation ship it without the spout attached.

I purchased this melter to do higher volumes without having to continuously dip or use a ladle. It's a little smaller than I expected but, however it's bigger than what I had previously. I like it!! It makes the process much faster! I thought it was broken the first time I used it, but it was operator error. I didn't have the temperature on the correct setting; therefore, it wouldn't dispense the wax. Overall, I would purchase again and recommend this product. By the way, it holds a 10 lb slab of wax in solid state, more once melted.
