Don't use the template provided!!!

The table comes with a handy little template for you to put on your wall to know exactly where to put the holes in your wall before mounting the table. The problem - the template doesn't match up with the table (at least ours didn't). As a result, you have holes in your wall that you can't use to mount the table. Obviously, this was a little frustrating! The table also comes with hinges that seem to be absolutely pointless as far as we can tell. It comes in two pieces, so you would think that maybe it could fold down to half size, but it doesn't seem to do so. We ended up just using one half of the table because we didn't like how far it came out. Once the table is mounted it works very nicely. I don't regret getting it, I just regret using the template.

The entire package is pretty good, it all falls short of great

Here are all of the things I give 4 of 5 stars -Price -Make quality -Protective packaging for shipping -Durability of the arms -Instructions The price is fair but not great, the make quality is fair but not great. My package survived a puncture but only because of it's location. Couple inches the other way I've got a chipped table top. Comes with two arms, and the only mounting instructions are a template keeping them equidistant, but they don't align with standard spaced studs, so they want between 1 and 2 of these arms to be in the drywall. That's ludicrous for a surface of this size that will have items placed atop it. So I was limited to placements that would get both into a stud while keeping them relatively equidistant. It's good enough, but I'm not crazy about it.

very solid top.

I found, as did other reviewers, that you really need an extra set of hands when putting this together. Table to is heavy, brackets kind of light for the size and weight of the table. For me, not a problem as I put it beside the workbench to basically give more table top for projects I working on that may have to be set aside while waiting for a parts delivery, and a place to put any special tools needed for a project so I don't always need to hunt through the tool box for that special tool. Would have been nice to have pre-drilled holes, but on the other hand, it does give a little leeway to adjust an inch or so to get support on wall studs.

Great for small spaces

We installed this in our tiny utility closet to hold our laundry materials. The white color blends in well with the white walls. This has saved us enough space to put other important items like our vacuum and mop in the closet. I imagine that for those who use this in a workshop, the folding feature is a game changer. We have not had to fold it down as it sees continues use. Highly recommend.

Space-saving and for occasional use

This wall mounted folding table is a great idea and space-saving. The table top material is thick and in good quality. The brackets that came with it looked a bit small but they work. However, I would recommend keeping many and heavy items on top as not sure if it was designed for such use. When installing, I'd also recommend mounting the brackets to a stud beam behind the wall for better support as the table top itself is heavy too.

So, there was a major issue with the delivery of this item for me and that is absolutely no fault of the seller/Amazon. The delivery issue led to me getting a damaged item. However, that aside this is a good piece. My husband was able to get it mounted without the included guide (which was ruined in the delivery) and we are still able to put it to use despite the damage. Nice for small spaces.

So good except the piston. It does not go in it's socket. We even tried pounding it in, no dice. So we just installed it without that part. It works fine. So nice to have it fold out of the way.
