I’ve owned this trimmer for over a month and it is Spring time when everything is growing and waking up from winter. This trimmer is a beast. It’s bad to the bone. I love it. However, there are a few things I have against it which I’ll include in this review with a hope that VEVOR will see this review, listen to their customer, and make some adjustments to the manufacturing and functionality of this impressive trimmer.
Simply put- this thing can tackle every single situation we’ve thrown at it. We have huge thickets with vines that have taken over the trees around us and the trees are beginning to encroach upon our house which is why I purchased this machine. It has no problem getting the job done. The hard part was cleaning up as we are going bc there’s more than we expected but that is our inexperience in such massive yard maintenance projects. Oh and you don’t even need to choke the motor at all.
Each attachment is easy to remove and replace. Each attachment has many uses we’ve found as we are trying each attachment against the massive vines and overgrowth we are attacking before it is too late and really it is already bordering on too overwhelming, tbh. Each attachment is useful and fully capable in get the jobs done. Glad to have several options to switch between as we have bigger then smaller, tougher then easier, jobs etc where the use of one attachment is more useful than another one and vice versa.
Somewhat minor issues with this machine is the instruction are nearly useless. VEVOR- Please get an English as their first language speaking person to review and rewrite with clear intelligent instructions and pictures, and maybe even videos of how to put the thing together. I have an engineering background and it took me three attempts at putting the handle together on the thing before I finally think it is right and mostly useable/functional. Btw the rubber piece goes under the handle pieces before you screw the handle together. Pro tip!!!
Speaking of the handle- VEVOR please consider giving us an option to adjust the handle. The handle is just too low when weed eating as the person using it has to be bent over further than is comfortable for long term jobs.
These are my only gripes so far I have about this machine.
I will add that the harness that comes with it we have yet to try bc it is a bit cumbersome and looks like a nightmare to figure out how to properly use it but I’m sure that’s just our personal experience/hesitancy and may not be a big deal to others I’m sure. It almost seems like it is pointless, but perhaps!, it would help some with the handle being unadjustable. Who knows?
Overall I’d highly recommend this machine. I may have gotten a little too big of motor and probably could have gotten a few sizes smaller and still be able to get the jobs done around here. This thing is fully capable I assure you.
I’d give this 5 stars if the handle was adjustable!!!
