Hello - am I correct in assuming that the unit will not roll down a slight concrete driveway slope (<5 degrees) when power is not connected? Ie. It will hold the trailer in place provided of course that the trailer load and ball weight do not exceed the unit's specifications? Thanks

The machine does not have a brake device. When there is no electricity, the machine will not move. If it is on a slope, it may still be dragged naturally.

For light or empty trailer only. Cannot be kept installed for driving.
The weak point is mounting of the tube. The torque is strong and tries to bend out the mount system. It has low or high points to mount but in both the wheel sticks out too high to be kept while towing safely. Therefore has to be removed for tow use. Hassle. But to manoeuvre empty trailer precisely into garage even on sloped driveway or into car lift or to hook the truck this is a very nice thing that does the job otherwise possible only with way bigger tools.

Generally worked very well, very powerful and easy to operate. the reason for a four star review is because of the bracket, you most likely have to drill two hole into your trailer to hold the bracket, which may void any warranty. If VEVOR can provide a bigger U-bracket as an option will be best.

Great for small trailers
Rated for 5000lbs, per spec, not from my perspective. I have a 2000 lb dump trailer and with 1200 lbs loaded it struggled to move on an asphalt parking lot, luckily I used this as a test before needing to use it for a more difficult maneuver. Motor torque could be better tire needs to be beefier(wider and more grip). Many times it just bummed and couldn't move and few times it moved it went about a foot or two and started to slip. Given the performance on asphalt I couldn't attempt in gravel, it would have gotten itself stuck digging and binding.

Exactly what I need to move my boat in and out of the garage. Great price, great product! Easy to install easy to remove. Once you mount the bracket you can remove it by removing one bolt. I remove it when I have the boat hooked to my truck. I put it back on when I'm back at my garage. It takes about a minute.

Insufficient power and inadequate mounting bracket. Manufacturer does not sell replacement parts. We had to have a sturdier mounting bracket built. If replacement parts were available, we could have repaired the unit. Since they were not available we had to buy another unit which promptly broke down the second time we used it.
