VEVOR Solar Heated Shower Poolside Shower 9.2Gal 7FT Shower w/360° Shower Head

Installed in concrete slab. Used my own fixings. I’ve placed mine down the side of the house, just to rinse off after using our pool. Definitely heats up, it gets sun it it’s current position. Having trouble with the shower connectors. Can’t seem to stop it dripping when it’s on, no matter how much tape I use or how tight I do it up. Not a big issue as its only when its on. Might invest in a different shower arm and head. Tap doesn’t leak at all. A slow drip from the back where the tap connects, again only when it’s on. From what I can gather, the shower completely fills with water, and stores it. Turn the garden tap on when in use, the incoming water creates the pressure to supply the shower. It seems to be solid and I dont think it will go anywhere unless really forced.

Overall good quality and easy to put together - needs to be in sun to warm up but decent capacity for a couple of people to rinse off in comfort. Only let down is the showerhead (not a major issue) and mixer (a big issue) are cheap plastic parts which majorly detract from the overall quality. I imagine these can be easily replaced by standard higher quality version in the future, but would have been better to come with better quality metal parts to start with.

Has turned out to be just what we needed. It has helped keeping the inside of the house cleaner. Only complaint was drilling the anchors into the cement to anchor it down.

We have deep Winter in Wagga Wagga and have not put it together yet. But have opened the package and so far we like it. Ask us in October and we let you know.

Before I bought this shower I wanted to be certain that it had chromed brass or stainless steel fittings as my last outdoor shower fittings rusted out under the chrome plating. So I contacted Vevor both by email and via chat. They could tell me nothing other than what I had already read in the online description. I consoled myself that the item description said it was durable and wouldn’t rust so I bought it on Friday before the sale ended. This was fortunate as telstra has been upgrading the network and I have had no internet or phone connection since. So on Wednesday it arrived. Disappointingly, the shower and mixer tap fittings are chrome plated plastic. I doubt it will last outdoors in the elements - with the deteriorating effects of uv from sunshine, heat, rain, storm and hail stones as well as birds landing on it. If chrome plated plastic fittings were listed in the item description I would not have bought it. They are not durable outdoors. I tried for over an hour using all my strength to twist the top half of the black column into to the bottom half without any luck - it kept getting stuck and refused to turn past halfway. It was a heavy and awkward procedure I kept having to repeat that hurt my back. I finally solved the problem by spraying the connecting surfaces with silicone - then it easily twisted into place. I used the teflon tape on all the joins, being careful not to over tighten them, because I did not want to break the fragile chrome plated plastic. I had to stand on a step ladder to attach the shower because it is so high up beyond my reach. I will need to use the step ladder whenever I have to adjust the shower head or even to view the thermometer (which is way too high and mostly hidden behind the shower rose) to check what the water temperature is. I filled it via hose, relieved to find it had no leaks. So now I’ve tried the solar shower and it is warm enough to wash my hair without brain freeze and aching ears which is the problem with my current cold outdoor shower I made myself using chromed brass fittings with polypipe and has lasted a decade in the elements already.

If looking for an outdoor shower for your pool or just a shower for outside this is highly recommended. It’s sturdy, looks amazing and useful for washing your children, Pets or coming inside after a day on the farm a quick rinse or holds enough water for a complete shower.

Put up our solar outdoor shower a couple of weeks ago, easy to install (we had to replace bolts to more heavy duty for our concrete floor). The shower has been used everyday and is a great hit with myself and the grandchildren. There is plenty of water for a complete wash (I keep soap and shampoo/conditioner along side). Absolutely love my shower and would recommend that it installed in a sunny position, I also keep a bucket under shower to catch any drips or run off. :)
