Great jacket!

I'm 5'11" about 200 lbs and the X-Large fits great. Have put off spending the money and put up with the occasional slag burn. I weld/cut as a hobby and for repairs so it's not often. Have been welding/cutting a bit more lately, arms were looking rough at a family gathering so decided to spend the dollars. Glad I did and should have done it long ago. Well worth the money, will last many years and was silly to not get one sooner. Cut a couple bumper bolts a couple days ago (on my back, on the ground, under the car a bit), wore this for protection. Was amazed at how many black spots it had on it - that would have been burn marks. Nothing burned thru the jacket - highly recommend.

Great jacket, heavy built leather, very impressed

This is a VERY heavy leather jacket. I am 5' 7", 225lbs. with a 44 inch chest. This jacket fits, but I could have stood an XXL. Time will tell if I can comfortably work in the jacket and not get bound up. This aside, the jacket is made well and very sturdy. For the price I don't think this jacket can be beat.

So far, nice jacket, a bit undersized, seems quality.

I like a heavier jacket because it usually holds up better. This is a good heavy weight jacket, with a good flexible leather. More flexible than my Hobart $90 coat. Durability is to be seen, have only had it less than a couple weeks. No pen pockets on sleeves, but nice inside pocket. ORDER A SIZE LARGER! I experienced the same as others have, I ordered my normal XL and it's a bit snug. I will order XXL next time. Overall, Iv really like the jacket so far.

Follow the other reviews for sizing ,I weight 225 with a bit of the father figure.LOL, the Extra large fits me well enough to allow freedom of movement in tight spaces. Most importantly it offers very good protection from welding slag and sparks

Best value for money

Great sturdy jacket, been welding Stick 6011, 7014, and 6013 and MIG with it for the past 5 months and its held up great. I added a pocket to the front as the pocket is on the inside, and a few more clips for the wrist openings so that my sleeves fit in my gloves better.

I think it will be helpful when welding in the heat

My older welding jacket is simply too hot to work in the Summer sun. The back on this is cut out, so your sweat has somewhere to dissipate. It makes it a bit more of a challenge putting it on, but it is worth it. If a breeze is coming from behind you, which is helpful when welding, it is quite comfortable. I think it is well constructed, and offers full-frontal protections (including neck). I wear a 2x in most coats and clothing. Sleeve length is often a problem. This didn't offer up any surprises. I'm happy with the purchase.
