Major assembly defect
For the money, this guy works well with a little hot air from above. I have used it several times for pick up and put down high pin count tqfp parts and makes working with packages that have “power pads” under the part actually workable. Cooling fan is a little annoying but I can live with it.

Had to change fan to load perfect not!

Works well!
Using this to dry gpus after cleaning in sonic sink.Works well. Recommend flipping the temp sensor so it touches pcb instead of the elements.

Good for medium volume runs
I am proficient at hand soldering, but am learning to use hot air. Learning the temperatures for my application took a few tries, but it cut my soldering time of a QFN component down more than half of the time. This is a must if you have to solder medium volume runs.
