Doing the job I wanted it to do

I got this and installed same day. I did get someone to install for me over a door. He opted to use his own expanding screws as they were a lot thicker, but that was just a personal preference. Also used silicone to seal the opening against the wall, just as a precaution. There was a very slight gap so, better to be prepared. Shelters well from the rain. 2 weeks after installation, there was a hurricane, the awning did not budge. Will buy again

Good product and fairly easy to put up. Just what we needed over our new door. The price was a good one too

This has a plastic/plexiglass center but the mounts are a nice heavy metal. We installed it a few months ago and have not had any issues plus lots of compliments. It was a great buy for the price. Install was pretty straight forward but that depends on the exterior of your structure. We put it on a house with siding and mounted it so that it lined up with the bottom of a row of siding. It made flashing and mounting much easier. Be sure to plan ahead BEFORE you try to mount it. It would be easy to have something that looked unlevel or had gaps behind it otherwise. We also sealed all the edges with clear silicone for water.

seems to be a sturdy awning but there was not enough screws to complete the assembly . Fortunately i had enough from my supply that i could complete the assembly.

Holds up well to the weather and is a huge help above our entrance door. Only reason it doesn't get 5 star was that it only came with concrete/brick anchor bolts. Back of our apartment has siding, needed to go out and get some wood lag bolts. Extra cost and inconvenience is the reason it got 4 stars.
