I really enjoy using this little desk to do my college. I will say that despite having rounded corners, the edges are still a bit sharp so I added a foam bumped to go around the outside to make it more comfortable to type on. Since the hardware that it uses prevents it from actually from folding completely flat against the wall, the foam fits perfectly and protects your legs from bumps and bruises in the long run. It comfortable fits my 17” laptop on the surface (as you can see from the attached pic) and there’s enough room to use a notebook and a calculator, without feeling like you have to shuffle things around. It is easy to knock things off this desk so agin a foam edge protector adds additional value in that aspect. Attaching this to a wall does require two people or some skilled balancing. After you’ve planned out the height and found your studs, we found it easiest to attach one side with a single screw then have someone else hold it level to attach the other side. After the initial set up process, it probably only took us about 5-10 minutes to actually install it so not too bad for a functional little desk. Some of the other reviews mention that they were disappointed by the difference between the advertised weight bearing load of the desk versus the instructions and I’m here to clear the air on that. The instructions specifically state the weight in kilograms, which 100 lbs of weight translates to roughly 45.36 kg. So the product description and the instructions are actually the same, just with different metrics. I have not personally tested if the desk actually can hold 100lbs/45kg so I can’t actually verify if that’s accurate. All in all it’s a good little desk for the price you pay, I like it for my small space and keeps things looking nice and neat!
