Hooked up ok. It blew up in 2 weeks. No response from my support request. Ads say call or chat, nowhere on thier site can I find a chat or telephone number. Guess I'll buy another from someone else and never use vevor again

Excellent VFD
Great unit, lots of video/etc support out there to help and such. Figured out how to even get it to display machine spindle RPMs which was a considerable bonus (they really ought to explicitly describe that process in their manual, seriously). Zero complaints.

VEVOR VFD 7.5KW, 34A, 10HP Variable Frequency Drive for 3-Phase Motor
I am using this vfd to power a 1947 Monarch 10EE lathe . And it works great so far. Shipping was fast. Easy hook up.

I have used this item on my 9"x42" mill approximately 50 times with no problems at all ... can't believe I waited this long to get one ... absolutely very satisfied ... thumbs up!!!

Vevor VFD
Utilizing the VFD's factory settings makes it a simple plug and go affair. It worked perfectly on three different ASEA motors, a 1/2 , a 1 and a 1 1/2 horsepower. If they were in stock I would purchase another without hesitation.

Unit does everything it's supposed to do and more. Instruction manual is very complicated and not easy to understand, it needs considerably more detail about each function The unit can run a 120 volt or 240 volt permanent split capacitor motor if the capacitor is removed and the winding wire is attached to the unit basically it works like a three-phase motor make sure your unit is sized to handle the startup load. All in all good can do many features and many things needs more clear instruction manual or at least a website address where you can go and research for the price a damn good unit

Great Value
I'm using this VFD to power a 10HP Marathon Globetrotter motor that runs a 6.2 GPM, 2,300 psi pressure washer pump. I was skeptical because of the comparatively low price, but this thing is every bit as good as these other reviews say it is. The documentation is not good, but it's worth the effort to figure it out. I have it programmed to soft-start from zero to 1,768 RPM in 5 seconds and it works perfectly. My only complaint is the electrical connections. The terminals aren't protected too well, there's a plastic hinged cover that sort of shields them, but 240VAC should be enclosed in a box or something more than this. Won't stop me from buyng another one though as soon as I can think of another use for a 3 phase motor. Great deal.

I bought this for my 18/25 mazak lathe which has a two stage 7.5hp motor. I couldn’t use a static phase converter for this type of motor and a rotary phase converter was way to expensive. I am extremely pleased with this vfd. I was a bit skeptical that this would work because the price was so low but it has proven very useful. Thank you Vevor for offering a great product at a reasonable price.

7.5kw VFD
Works as well as any I've seen. The product isn't the smartest VFD on the market but for the price it does a good job. Have it wired to my custom 60T hydraulic press and run a foot switch to it. Probably not worth 5 stars because the housing is a little fragile in my opinion, just low grade plastic to hold those huge wires, but I gave it 5 stars because VEVOR sent me a broken one and their customer service department tried 3 different times to help me fix it (troubleshooting, a new part, and eventually a new one) and I value customer service like that.

Used this to convert a 7.5 3ph Jet lathe to work on a 1ph 50amp circuit. First off, it works great and I was even able to wire in the fwd and reverse to the stock wiring to allow the controls to work as normal. I do wish the instructions were better - finding the actual setting to allow control from digital inputs took some frustrating trial and error, and the settings themselves aren't super clear at times. For the estop, for example, you really want to set the input as External Fault (NC/Normally Closed), which will turn off the motor if the circuit is broken. A small table of settings that should probably be set (various frequencies, motor hp, etc.) would be handy, as well as some details on settings for common use cases like external fwd/reverse/estop inputs. I really can't complain for the price, though!
