Works as expected. Heats up quickly. No, it is not loud - I run mine in the kitchen. Use just dish soap to clean up carburetors. Freed more than one seized part. Cleaned many more. Easy drain and storage.

This size is good, fits side draft carbs in it no worries, heats up the water very well and the addition of the drain hose make it easy to drain the old liquid afterwards. I've cleaned a heap of parts and it works very well especially with the special cleaning powder from Supercheap. Its a little on the noisy side, but not a drama if you have it in the garage or workshop. Highly recommended.

I didn't actually get to use this one as it was too small, I thought the 6-litre version would at least fit a side draft Webber but it couldn't. It would be fine for smaller bike carbs etc. I ended up getting the bigger 15ltr version which is mint.

It works but it is LOUD.
