Compared to a logging block and tackle this is much lighter duty, but my intended use for this hoist is in my RV garage with lifts around under 200 lbs. I had a cheap 6-part one I used for up to 100 lbs that made me very cautious; this block and Tackle has larger diameter wheels and rope making the lift much easier to operate (and holding the larger rope). 100' of rope was ample for my RV garage 16' ceiling height rail.

This is a great set up - the pulleys feel very sturdy and really solid, 100 feet of rope is really nice - very very high quality rope - I can totally belive its 7700 LB breaking strength! This is excellent equipment, and I really enjoyed the job of storing the kayaks!

Nice, very high quality feel. Rope is very stiff- possibly a hard laid level. Open sheaves are so useful!

This rope hoist is perfect for me to get sheets of plywood up onto my workbench. It lifted my 105lb table lift with ease. Light and easy to use, made quick work of cutting some tree limbs. Order it with a longer rope than you think you need, with 5 strands of rope traveling though it you eat up a lot of length quickly.

This block & tackle seems well made and performs the task for which it was purchased. My only complaint has not to do with the product itself but with the marketing. One of the pictures shows a person repelling down a cliff. In addition, the description says: "... an excellent choice for you who need a climbing rope pulley for rock mountain rescue..." But when you open the package, you'll find an enclosed notice stating it's not to be used for such things.

Have used it to pull all kinds of stuff logs my truck out mud an also lift over 1000lbs pulled it up with truck then atached to kleet let truck off rope then set it in back of truck

Can't beat it for the money. I've worked outside utility construction for 22 years and destroyed all kinds of junk. These however are well built, and rated well over what I'll use them for. For the money I don't think you could do better.

Good quality. Strong . Not assembled. Not ready to use. The instructions are not too good. Setting up is kinda difficult. (Pain in the ass)

I purchased this block and tackle as part of a solution for loading elk into the back of my Polaris Ranger UTV. Works like a charm! High quality rope and low friction sheaves made quick work out of an otherwise back-wrenching challenge. I have total faith in this Block and Tackle.
