OK but could probably be reengineered to be great.

It isn't bad, I had the actually Ford boxes on my other F150 and I couldn't really tell a difference. I wish they would get rid of the little groves on the lid, I know they are supposed to be tool holders but they are also rain collectors. The locks really won't keep anyone out either. It is a low cost box so I didn't knock a ton off for the flaws. It fit well on my 2016 F150 and the install was pretty easy. The latch lined up and I left my box link in place. It holds a lot of straps and my hitch but I wouldn't put anything in it that you aren't willing to lose.

Seem to be made decent work Nicely. Had to install 1/2” higher than instructions said to get the latch to line up correctly.

Secure Storage On the Go

The VEVOR Truck Bed Storage Box is a lockable and waterproof tool box made of durable ABS material. It's designed for Ford F-150 (2015-2021) and fits on the driver's side wheel well. It provides secure and easily accessible storage for your belongings and tools, and comes with a password padlock for added safety. Though installation needs attention to detail, it's a reliable and convenient storage solution that optimizes your truck's storage capabilities.

Lightweight and strong enough but need your tools to install

It possesses great quality, and its resistance under pressure is acceptable. The size is fitting, but it requires your staff to install it correctly. It would be great if they included some tools, allowing for self-installation without assistance. While it works, it's not very secure for storing expensive items since it can break easily under substantial pressure. However, it is safe for keeping your belongings away from animals or under normal pressure.

This stow box is well designed and the overall quality is good. The material used for the box construction is a hard type plastic that feels thin and my only hesitation with it is in cold temperatures I would be concerned it could be susceptible to cracking with an impact from loading other objects into the truck bed or something that isn't secured sliding into the box. The hardware included seems durable quality and heavier duty. The locking mechanism on the box lid seems to be solid enough and I like that the box also came with a paddle lock to secure the hinge bracketry as well.

I love everything about it. It was easy to install. The only thing is it came with the wrong bracket that holds the lock that is bolted to the tie down on the bed of the truck. I made it work using only two bolts in stead of four. It is a great tool box for the money. I have a 2022 F-150 crew cab 4x4 short bed.

Great little box for the price

I like to keep some tools in my truck and this does a good job of keeping them safe, out of the weather and stops them from sliding around. This did all of that effectively. It wasn't difficult to install. It's lighter than I expected. If you use the bed of your truck for heavy duty uses then you should probably used a heavy duty box. When I have metal, wood or cement in my truck I worry that this box would get crushed but so far it's done well.

Installed on 21 f150 powerboost passenger - not as bad as everyone else's experience

So yes, go buy 3 m8 2 inch hex head bolts, thick waters and lock nuts. Take out the taillight, bolt in the hinge bracket but keep it a little loose. Next, test fit the latch bracket. If it's too wide put it in a crack in the sidewalk and step on it. Do this till its the right size. Flip the nut n bolt on the latch catch so the Phillips Is on the ouside. Bolt the latch bracket in place. Flip the tie down point by the twilight tround. Attach the box, test fit the latch and adjust by moving the latch up or down and or adjusting the hinge bracket by putting the box parallel to the bed and move the end up or down till it latches. Tighten up the hinge plate. Tighten up the latch by putting a open ended wrench behind the bracket and turn using the Phillips. Load it up and go. Took me 30 minutes and I was done4 stars cuz the plastic is a little brittle.

I received the storage boxes as promised. They installed reasonably easily with a couple of required modification and one item I changed due to my own requirements. 1. The brackets which hold the locking mechanism are supposed to bolt directly to the inside of the 2021 F150 bed. The holes in both the brackets were off by 3/4 of an inch. In order to install the bracket I had to put it into a vise and squeeze it so the 4 holes would line up otherwise it could not have been mounted correctly. 2. One of the locking mechanisms itself was slightly bent and again had to be put in a vise and straightened. The supplied screws which are used tp attach the hinge mechanism to the truck body were not something I would ever use. They were cheap and would eventually rust. I replaced them with stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers. The replacement of the hinge fasteners was my choice. but, for me, was the right thing to do.
