I change the air line fittings on the compressor and horn to a regular air line fitting and use compressor air hose. This increases the sound considerably. I get the fittings from Amazon. They are really loud and reliable. I have them on 3 vehicles.

My first air horn, and for the price I think it’s awesome. I installed it on a’72 VW Superbeetle - talk about surprising when I blast someone that cuts me off or brake checks me 😂. I bought a prewired switch and relay off Amazon for $15 to help make installing easy. Also took out the 1/2” plug from the tank and replaced it with a quick connect to run an air hose for inflating tires or whatever. Install was pretty straightforward, but instructions were a little off and required a little know-how and googling. I used the included small diameter hose from tank to horns and it works fine. Compressor will fill the tank within a few minutes and pressure switch cuts it on and off as expected. Highly recommend!
