During the Summer months they are a little soft and don't stand up well. However, they work in non-direct sunlight environment.

For use near the beach the cones exceeded my expectations. Most importantly they are sufficiently weighted for most windy conditions.

Reflective strip comes off
The white reflective is simply slide over the cone and slide off when separating the cones. I will be using them with horse training and riding exercises, so I suppose I will not need the reflective portion.

Sturdy
The cones are extremely sturdy.Only thing is, if you stack them the tape begins to peel away. Simple to replace the tape though. I would recommend and purchase again if needed.
