Good price for a generic 48 inch dethatcher. The tines are held on with nuts and bolts rather than press tabs which makes it more sturdy than similar products. All the bolts provided are nyloc so I don't think anything will work loose. Instructions are a bit of a nightmare, but there are youtube videos available from similar products to help. The bolts holding on the wheels are full-length threaded which might impact longevity as there are no bearings on the wheels. Wheel adjustment to make sure they are tight enough, but not too tight to wear out the wheels is therefore a bit tricky. Ultimately it's a cheap dethatcher so should be fine for garden and light sports pitch work but not for professional use - however the price is excellent and I imagine this will be ideal for most people.

The Vevor Tow Behind Dethatcher works ok, needs extra weight to make it more stable. I have strapped a couple of old fence posts to it with tough straps. Can be awkward to move around once the extra weight is applied.

This dethatcher is as advertised, but will take time to assemble. The parts when shipped can be scattered about, but mostly are there. This item may need follow-up with the merchant, but they are responsive. Recommended for utility.

I’ve borrowed my neighbors dethatcher for the last 2 yrs. I finally decided to just buy one for myself. The general design is the same for all tow behind dethatchers. This is built pretty solid. For something you’ll use once a year, it will probably last my lifetime (as long as I store it in my garage). I’ll need to find some room though because it doesn’t break down easily. Give yourself 3hrs to assemble. Most of which is squinting, swearing, grabbing a few drinks, and zooming in on photos online. Like all the other reviews, the instructions are garage. (I’m a licensed engineer and work in construction)… none of that matters once you open the box and start the adventure. In the end, you’ll get it. For the price ($55 on sale). It’s well worth it. Don’t bother getting the more expensive versions unless you purely want better written instructions. Get this one and save some cash.

Excellent product, made very well and a great price.

You’re going to want to use a cordless impact wrench for assembling this. The instructions aren’t the clearest but all the parts come bagged and organized. Once it’s built, tow it around with your rider mower to collect dead grass. It’s pretty easy to raise and lower the rake while driving. I don’t think you need concrete blocks but a couple of small logs gave adequate weight to grab the thatch from my lawn. I think this is the best dethatcher for the price and would recommend

I purchased this tow behind dethatcher as a gamble. It seemed simple enough and that it would work, and to be honest I wasn't disappointed. I did have to adjust how it attached to my zero turn mower to get both rows of tines to touch the ground, but several passes with and without a small amount of weight on the 'sled' did a great job and saved me a ton of tough raking.

The assembly may have been a bit difficult following the images provided. However, once assembled it is sturdy, and does a fantastic job. I have over an acre of grass and this made my chore a breeze. The new seed planted is now coming up better than ever before. I highly recommend.

Good thing I am mechanically inclined do to instructions are terrible to try and read. But product is great for the price.
