I had a tow bar built like this one, I thought. No way. The one I had, had the bolts constantly coming loose. The tongue would be flopping around by the time I reach every destination. Fortunately, it was demolished in a small incident caused by it co.ing loose. This one impressed me right out of the box. The paint job is overboard heavy and chip resistant almost. The bolts are black iron grade 8's. They don't loosen up! The gauge of the metal arms is three times thicker than my last set. The only negative which confused me is the safety chain is so light weight, I wouldn't trust it towing my jeep. Maybe a jet ski trailer. My jeep weighs 5,000lbs. Make sure you check the locking tension for the 2\" ball latch. Mine was a bit too loose. Other than that. I'm very impressed for the money.
