This is a very nicely made table top. We used it on top of some older cupboards we had and made a built in buffet in our kitchen. It's beautiful. When sat on top of dark colored cabinets, it really shines. It's well made and looks sharp!

Overall, this is an absolutely fantastic bamboo butcher block. It is really dense and weights a good amount. Instead of using this specifically as a top for a desk, I've actually cut it down into various sections. I've used the first section to actually create a folding shelf in our laundry room and the other parts of that same cut I've turned into floating shelves. Now I have about 30\" remaining for what I might end up using as a counter top but I haven't decided quite yet what I am going to do with it. It's a very well done top and high quality. The only downside I had was that there was defects on both sides of the face and so I had to live with that.

I used this alongside a motorized standing desk base. It's a decently thick piece of wood. It feels solid and doesn't scream \"cheap\".

If you are looking for a solid wood (well, bamboo) table top, this is a great choice. It is large, nearly 6ft wide and 29 inches deep. Great work surface for a variety of uses from a desk to a workshop bench. Nothing flimsy here. This is simply a solid piece of glued up bamboo. It is VERY heavy (close to 80 lbs), so make sure you can move it when you get it and the table legs can support it. I would equate this to some of the fingerjointed worktops you can get at big box stores, but this one is made with bamboo and a bit of a better overall value (especially for this size). Nice, you won't be disappointed with the quality.

I would have a very difficult time finding any tabletop locally of this quality and size without breaking the bank. This is huge, solid and very well made. I found no scratches or problems with the piece. The color of the bamboo is wonderful, bright and fresh looking. We are having wrought iron legs made by a local artist so we can use this in the office for a project and research area. Great product at a fantastic price. Highly recommended

When I originally put in my workbench, I planned on adding a nice top someday. This bamboo slab of wood showed up, so I finally got around to that nice workbench top I’ve wanted all along. This is a nice slab of wood. It measures exactly what the product description says, including the 1.5” thick and all the edges are finished. The stain and coating on it are well done and the piece looks great and doesn’t absorb any liquids. It is a bit slippery but that’s fine by me, just don’t try to stand on it! It came packed pretty well, with a box with reinforced corners and styrofoam to prevent any scratches, dings or other marks. It is quite heavy, almost 80 lbs from the description, so it is better to have two people when trying to maneuver it around. A really nice upgrade to that old workbench.
