Il est bien fait, un peu lourd mais ça le fait. Du gâteau.. N'hésitez pas, c'est indispensable pour les amortisseurs et une fois rangé il prend pas de place dans sa mallette sur l'étagère .

I needed an affordable spring compressor for an upgrade and wanted one a little more robust than the Macpherson strut compressor available at nearby hardware stores. This clamshell style compressor was easy to use and felt as secure as a spring compressor can. Safety first!

This worked wonders. Compressed the spring safely and very easily. I used just a 1/2” drive ratchet, it was very easy to turn. Set it up properly, keep your hands away from dangerous areas, etc.

after using death sticks for many years i decided to upgrade my compressors, these are so easy to use, on real effort needed to compress the spring. uses a 22mm ratchet, DO NOT USE AN IMPACT GUN THIS WILL DAMAGE THE THREAD. but remember to grease the screw thread before first use, the yellow plastic stays on, DO NOT REMOVE, it hold the spring in place, someone no here said you remove it but that is false. the only criticism i have is vevors customer services ask them what type of grease 5 days ago still no answer, i used spray white grease works fine.

Used this to replace the struts of an E46 BMW. No problems, seems like a good quality item.

Ordered a near identical set \"Schwaben\" (European aftermarket parts co.) at twice the price. Found this gem, and ordered it to save some resources. Compared both sets, they are identical (less one case being black with the tool company name on the lid, the other being blue), other than that this set comes with plastic guards to protect your springs, the other set did not have. I returned and got $75 offset after they took a rather bullish restocking fee $24+change. Worth it! Doing shocks and struts on late model European autos? This is good a good value DIY set.
