Used on front springs to MY14 Xkr. Quality is good, and worth the price . However found 2 caveats, 1) Not as Easy to compress spring to required size . Instructions state not to use an impact tool, and rightly so , so I had to use a breaker bar with pipe extension. Good luck on trying to keep the whole assy. from rotating . 2) When compressing spring enough, it began to 'Bow Out ' on opposite side of screw mechanism , this is not only dangerous but prevented me from inserting strut with boot etc. . Resolved by placing another compression tool on same side where bow occurred and compressing both at same time

I used this compressor yesterday removing and reinstalling the main springs in my Landcruiser. It worked really well and I felt safe when using it with very high compression.

Works great on Honda, Toyota truck “shock modules” with tightly wound springs. Ditch the plastic protectors. Goop it up inside and out with grease, use the safety screws. You might have to insert the clamps into the spring, then attach the tool, same for disassembly. Make sure it’s all properly seated. Very secure and effortless once set up. Always think of the ends like you would a loaded gun, pointed in a safe direction.

The tool feel apart the first time I used it. The inside c-clip came out. I was able to reassemble but I also noticed that the bearings had no grease.

This Spring Compressor set makes the job of compressing suspension springs super easy. It safely secure the coil springs with different size coil adaptors. The robust compressor bolt is heavy duty, not likely to strip. 22mm impact socket and 1/2” impact gun quickly make the job done safely. Pay for itself after just one job instead of buying fully assembled struts or shocks.

This tool makes replacing struts a breeze! I should have bought it earlier. It fits most vehicles and makes changing struts a much safer job. The hard case makes it easy to store and keep your work area clear.

This tool work great and felt very solid, I use this to install the 6112s on my tundra at the highest setting. I was still standing behind a concrete wall just in case things went wrong. I have used the tool two times so far. Make sure you grease the threads before and after use. Be generous with the grease. The tool did bind with spring after unloading the spring, just give it a light tap with your rubber mallet and it will loosen up.
