This was a Christmas gift for my girls. I bought two drums and this one is by far the favorite. Because it's larger, they have an easier time playing it, but it is also because it has pretty rich tones.

I did a lot of research because I didn't want to get a piece of junk as this was a gift. Upon arrival, the recipient started playing right away. The sound is booming! Great quality, big in size and sound. Great quality!!! You will be pleased!

I did a lot of searching before I purchased and am so happy to have gotten this one. The tone is soft and soothing although it can be played loudly. One of the lower notes seemed a bit flat when it came. It has a nice case, extra numbers for the drum although I do wish there was a set of letters corresponding to notes on a scale. Very happy with this drum and it is now added to my self care yoga/meditation routine.

Sounds great. Some of the "key's" seem to have mellowed out as the unit got warm, but it still mostly sounds great. Still have no idea what the black plastic/rubber thingies are for nor what that weirdly shaped piece of wood is for, but I will. One day. Did appreciate the gift Kalumba(?).
