As advertised
Works great. Other brands may be better, but this works fine.

The unit came fully assembled in a very heavy-duty box. I have used it several times with no leaks. The only change I made was to add a 90-degree fitting to the air intake tube inside the lid so the air does not blow the resin out of the mold when pressurizing the pot.

Gasket a bit stiff
So you have to really wrench down the butterfly nuts to seal this perfectly. I use a rubber mallet as I need this to hold pressure for 16+ hours. I wish the liquid tube was easily removable as I'm using this as a pressure pot and it gets in the way.

Quality
Very nice and product seems to be very well built. Holds pressure very well. Most I tried was 2 days and still held the 40psi I started with. Would recommend this.

Amazing pressure pot for resin casting
I've been doing resin casting for a couple of years now, and figured out pretty quickly that air bubbles are a serious problem. I mostly cast small parts to restore old toys, and a well-placed air bubble will completely ruin an otherwise perfect part. After doing some research, it became clear that I needed a pressure pot. There were a few commercially advertised units out there, but they were way too expensive, especially for a beginner that wasn't sure if making these tiny parts was even going to be worth the effort, let alone the costs for such a tool. But there are tons of youtube videos that will walk you through converting a harbor freight paint pot into a pressure pot for less that 200 bucks, so that's what I decided to do. It wasn't too hard, but did require purchasing a handful of fittings, swapping some things around on the lid, and cutting a wooden \"floor\" for the rounded bottom of the pot. I used it for a couple of years and it worked ok. The lid clamps were extremely sketchy, and it would never seal completely. It would usually bleed down overnight, mainly from the lid seal. I tried some of the fixes online, but never was able to get it to seal any better. Then one day while doing some casting a heard a \"clunk\" from it and about had a heart-attack. The cheap clamps had always scared me, and I was afraid the lid might just one day blow off catastrophically. Luckily that's not what happened, as only one of the pot metal clamps failed, and not all 4 at once. I survived it, but I was out a pressure pot and had orders to fill. Harbor freight doesn't carry replacement parts so I was left with either replacing the entire unit or finding something else. I actually stumbled across this pot while looking for replacement clamps for the HF one. I've never owned and Vevor tools before, but instantly liked the looks of the unit. mainly because of the beefy looking lid clamps. I checked the reviews, but at the time, there weren't any. I decided to drop the hamme

Resin Casting Tank
I bought this for the sole intentions of using as a pressure tank for casting. It has met my expectations . It arrived earlier than what Amazon stated. :) Everyone who has researched pressure tanks should know that you either get a paint tank and modify it or spend some money and get one already made to to this. Well, this tank is ready out of the box to use as a pressure pot with one caveat. You need to remove or cut the suction tube for paint that hangs down to the bottom. I was able to remove it with tools I have available, but for most folks, the easiest way to get it out of the way is to use a cheap pipe cutter, if you don't already have one and cut it as close to the lid as you can. After that, you'll probably need to change out the quick disconnect where the air hose attaches. It seemed like an odd size, for me, but you need to match it up for you current set-up or to the air compressor you will be buying. I've seen some people talk about using a bicycle pump, but I bet they only used it one time. After you've done these two things, you are set to go. I pressurized the tank and let it sit for two days with no movement on the gauge. I'm very happy with this purchase.

High quality pressure pot
Ready for resin casting right out of the box. No modifications necessary. There is a paint suction tube that can be removed if you need extra space. I chose to remove mine. I used the crate packaging as a makeshift work table by flipping the lid upside down on it and heating the pipe connection with a grill lighter for a minute or so. Then unscrewed it with a pipe wrench. Not a single leak afterwards. I make resin castings at 40psi and they're bubble free. Sometimes the pot will slide a little when tightening the wing nuts but you can place it on a silicone mat or buy some rubber feet like I did. Not a big deal. They had to cut costs somewhere so feet or casters aren't included. I purchased the uxcell 1.5\" x 0.79\" Rubber Conical Vibration Isolators M8 to be specific. Perfect fit and the pot no longer slides when tightening the lid. This is a much more impressive pot than the harbor freight one and I highly recommend it.

Out of the box prefect!
The VEVOR Spray Tank 10L/2.5gal is an excellent pressure pot, perfect for resin casting and various other applications. It was ready to use right out of the box, which made the setup quick and hassle-free. The tank is well-constructed, and the 70PSI maximum pressure ensures smooth and consistent operation. Whether I’m using it for home decor projects, automotive painting, or industrial tasks, this spray tank performs flawlessly. The metal rack adds extra stability, and there are no leaks thanks to its solid sealant design. I highly recommend this product for its reliability and versatility.
