I bought 2 of these, only used one so far but it was easy to connect. Everything worked. Did go over it with a screwdriver and made sure all the scews were right.

I've had this combiner box installed for a year now and it has not failed on me. It is still doing it's job. Altough the metal hangs rusted pretty quickly, all of the internal components are good. Installed the box on the roof, under the solar panels, so no direct sunlight or rains affect it. Installation was pretty easy and everything came in as supposed to. Make sure you tight everything before leaving in for final installation, including the screws that you do not connect a wire to.

I read the reviews after purchasing, and thought I would return it if I got any trouble. None whatsoever. Granted, I live in Alaska, and lightning storms are rare in my location. I am 30, and only have seen 4 in my life. I have 4 Renogy 12v 100w panels on it at the moment hooked up for 48v, and it has worked the last 2 months just fine. I tested all the connections, and none were loose. Only issue is if I need to replace a fuse. Instalation was as basic as screwing a board to the wall, and plugging in a few extention cords.

Quick delivery as ever. Once received I tested it with a multimeter to for continuity e.g between each mc4 +/- in and the +/- out of the breaker to make sure all everything was in order. It was. Mounted it and hooked up 4 strings of 2x255W (8.8A per string). Checked everything over with the clamp meter when the sun came up the next day and all was well. It's been working great.

I used this combiner in an off grid 1500 w solar installation and it is working very well. I had four mono panels, each 345 watt, nominally 60 volts or so at roughly 5.5 amps. I combined each of these single panels in parallel to feed a 3000 w inverter/charge controller. All of the connections were tight, and I can't say I've had any issues so far at all.

Have made combiner boxes in the past and ended up paying more and a lot of time to put them together. This was plug and play and installed outside on roof of my Bus right next to the solar panels. 2S 4P and ran 1 double AWG 10 wire to Charge Controller from the Combiner box. It comes with fuses so just switch it off and hook up everything to it. When all done and CC is programed switch it back on and it will be ready for solar.

I was looking for a water tight 4 PV combiner box for my solar installation. This box is a high quality unit that made my project very easy to put together. The housing (box) is made of durable material inside/out.

Very sturdy organized box to combine your solar panels. Door hinge could be better designed but like it so much, no marks taken off for that MINOR design, not flaw, just dislike.
