I must admit, I was hesitant to buy this combiner box due to an unpleasant experience with another purchase. But I gave vevor another chance and bought again. I was pleasantly surprised to find the combiner box exactly fitted my needs, was of reasonably good quality and easy to install. A suggested improvement would be a volt/current/watts meter inside the box. I recommend this product. Thank you
This is the 4th combiner box I have purchased here. The other 3 are all 6 string boxes. These are compact and easy to mount. After that just attach the wires. This box has a better latch system than the others I have so I don;t know if that's a new feature. Over 3 years and I've had no problems with any of them.
VEVOR appears to be a good brand. I bought the VEVOR combiner box for a few reasons. The price was good, It has 15 amp fuses, and the wiring inside is well thought out. The negative wires come in to a terminal strip and only one wire goes to the top of the output breaker. I checked the terminations and all were tight. I cycled all the fuse holders open and closed. I checked continuity throughout and all was good. I couldn't find anything wrong with it. I ended up running three sets of series panels to each input at 80 volts per input for an 80 volt output and 1050 watts. This is going to a shed to charge my Ecoflow Delta Pro. While singing the praise for VEVOR I would like to mention a friend bought a new electric car and needed a level 2 charger. After searching various EV chargers online he ended up with a VEVOR plug in car charger. He knew nothing of the brand before his searches.

Solar combiners are necessary for inverters that can only accept a low voltage supply from solar panels. Turns out that new inverters can now accept higher solar voltage. Things are changing so fast we can not keep up.
I like this PV combiner box so far. I bypassed and removed the diodes in the box, as they are unnecessary, and would actually most likely hinder the performance of the solar array. Good product overall tho.
