I use soft shackles for winter vehicle recovery situations. I feel that they are safer to use compared to D-ring metal shackles in the event of a component failure under load. This 2-pack of Vevor synthetic soft shackles have a have a very high working load of 6.6 tons and maximum break strength of 20 tons. That is more than enough for most snow bound vehicles. Each soft shackle measures 1/2\" diameter x 22\" long. They each have a protective sleeve that helps to prevent the sunthetic strands from being cut and keeps abrassion to a minimum. The synthetic material helps to make these very lightweight to carry and install. These straps will not rust (obvisously) and they won't make rattle sounds while stored in your vehicle. This 2-pack of soft shackles comes with a storage bag that makes them easy to keep in your vehicle. I recommend this 2-pack of 1/2\" x 22\" Vevor synthetic soft shackles

These soft shackles are good. They are much better than the last set I got. These ones are back spliced where the knot is so should hold through anything. My other set just had the tag end heat-shrunk down for cosmetics but this looks much nicer. These are also a little lower in price than most others but still have good quality. If you want a good set of shackles that aren't heavy or clanging around in your toolbox, these will do you well.

These are as described, heavy duty, D ring. These have a plastic insert on the interior to reduce wear on a rope, and it comes with plastic washers in the screw pin. This is easy to use, open. Overall quality is excellent; I works buy these outright.

These work great! Simple design, and effective. I like the sleeves to try to take off some of the wear. Bag holds everything. Happy to add this to my recovery kit in my jeep.

Nice quality shackles, well finished, and well made. They are exactly as described, match the color in the pictures pretty well, and perform as expected.

These seem strong in design to handle any common towing needs. They have a good coating on them and the color patterns look good. There are two different thickness rubber washers for the pin and a strong rubber padding on the ring that is also removable if not desired, but it stays in place well if left on. Comes with some instructions or guidance on how to use your connection points for towing which is nice. I have full confidence in using these on my truck. I think they are a great choice at a good value.

these are a lot heavier/stronger than i would have expected. excellent build. love the included washers to cover gaps in applications. just make sure that 1.25 inch gap covers your application. cause you will not 'move' these devices much. excellent value!

Ordered these for my tractor to avoid having to chain to the box blade. Sadly the diameter is just a tad bit larger the my opening. Regardless, these things are solid and heavy duty. Incredible value at this price.

Tested it out pulling some logs to see. The rope seems not as soft as some others, however it didn't seem that affected anything. So far it lines up with those 2x the price. Highly recommended for your recovery kits!

These shackles are seriously heavy duty, and I’m impressed with the build quality. The rubber washers are a nice touch, protecting your equipment when bolting them on. I have no doubt they’ll hold up to their rating. The finish looks great, and the rubberized inserts help protect polymer tow straps and winches during use, while also preventing any damage to your vehicle's finish when not in use. Highly recommended!
