Challenging and Fun
Everyone in the family (my, my wife, and my 6 & 8 year old girls) love using the slack line. It's challenging, but I feel like I improve every time I use it (I've had it for about a week). Set up and take down is easy (comes with a bag to put everything in). Set up is probably 5 minutes, take down maybe 10 because I like to wrap the lines up and put everything away neatly. I like that it comes with the tree protectors, and they're pretty easy to set up. The ratcheting mechanism seems sturdy enough. The line holds my weight fine (~ 230). But, it needs to be fairly high to not touch the ground if the trees are close to the full 57' apart. This isn't an issue when it's more like 20-30 feet. The training line is helpful. It gives my girls some confidence while they're doing it and it means that I can just be near them instead of holding their hand. I try not to use it myself and I can stand for a while and take a few steps without falling. But every time I fall off, I want to get back on and stay for longer. It's a lot of fun. I think the learning curve is reasonable because I feel like I've been better every time I get on it (about 5 times in 10 days or so).

Great intro for beginner slackliner
Saw some youtube videos and got interested in slacklining. We ended getting this set because of price and have been really pleased with our purchase. It was really difficult to stay start, so we tried put up a rope above the slackline to help support, but that only made us dependent on the support line. I really suggest getting on, learning to stand, then make ONE step, then practice TWO steps, and then move up from there without any help. It was extremely easy to put up. Our two trees were about 30 feet apart, so lots of line left over but that was plenty long since walking 10 feet was hard enough. Great fun for the family. Kids and neighbors have used it constantly and adult siblings came over and had a blast. 5 stars for great product, great fun and great skill to learn.

My favorite purchase this year !!
Product took me 10 minutes to set up, with no prior experience setting up slack lines. And about 5 minutes to take down. The instruction manual provided for set up is not helpful, but a quick google search will explain set up in a few minutes. The line feels extremely sturdy, and I’m 200 pounds. The ratchet is high quality, on both the main line and the practice line. I will say it’s much heavy than expected, but that’s not a complaint. I was able to jump on this line repeatedly, and there was no slipping of the line and I never felt and loss in tension. Overall, This line was a great deal. I would also highly suggest if your debating between this line or the one without the practice line, get this one. The practice line makes learning soooo much easier, it would be almost impossible to learn without that.

We all love it!
We have all been really enjoying the slackline. All of my kids, age 3 to 9, have had lots of fun learning to walk the line. The training line has definitely been key in helping them learn. If it wasn't for that, I'd have to be out there constantly holding them up as they walk across which would be fine except I would never get anything done anywhere else. They are out there so much during the day playing. Not only have they learned to balance but they play war and see who can hang on the longest and are now working on doing small tricks. It really is a lot of fun. My only complaint would be that the short line they send that helps shorter kids hang on to the training line completely frayed and was no longer usable in the first day or two that we had the line up. My 3 year old was pretty disappointed about that but still loves walking it with our help. Even without it, though, I am really glad we went with this slackline!
