I have a son with Prader-Willi Syndrome, which means that he is unable to feel satiated when eating (perpetually feeling starved no matter how much he eats) so access to food can be deadly. To deter nighttime food seeking, we had always used tension gates, until he was big and strong enough to take them down. So I began looking for a metal security gate that we could use inside, and chose this for the accordion feature. It is perfect. We installed it in 40 minutes, taking our time. And just like that, huge relief knowing that our son would be safe at night. The cats can go underneath as they please. If we ever needed to move it, it would be easy to uninstall and reinstall. Super well made.

Im a small woman, pushing 60 and I was able to put it up in the basement door to keep the dog out. My daughter brought home a baby pitbull who was tearing through everything and needed him out of the laundry room. Works great!

I opted to use my own 3\" wood screws, since the hinge screws it came with, were too short. Otherwise, this is perfect for security and my windows are secure. Make sure to have your screws fasten thru to the wall studs, not just to the drywall.

So, we have to install it without the wheel but use 2'*4' put under gate.

Well made and attractive enough for indoors. Came without some hardware but customer service was very helpful and responsive. Very satisfied.

It is very sturdy....moves easily in all directions...I am actually using it as a gate on my backyard for my dogs....I was worried about the opening on the bottom but my 60lb dogs do not really even try to squeeze under. Even our 8 year old can easily open and close the gate. Highly recommend.

Keeps dogs and anything else out of the garden.
