No extension power cord and automatic settings don't work.

While the fan is perfect as an exhaust fan, there are several issues. First off the power cable (not the electrical) is not long enough and the company does not sell an extension cord. Secondly, I have tried several times to set the automatic feature of high/low temperature, to no avail. In spite, of my efforts the fan continuous runs. I so wanted the fan to come on and off as the temperatures were reached but it continues to run until I shut it off. This is disappointing and I would return the fan but I really need to exhaust heat from solarium and don't want to undo the mounting.

The Fan seems reasonably good but it is early days! The defects I see are: -After only a short time the louvres are not shutting, when the fan stops (ill probablt need to install an insect screen). -The controls are in degrees F (why not a F/C option). -The handbook gives the cut out in inches! I need to convert that for my metric tape measure! -The handbook says my cut out is 12". In reality it needs to be 12.25" to clear rivet heads.
