It was easy to install easy to cut with a regular box knife or contractor's knife and you just use a mortar to stick it down onto and then you use another layer of mortar on top of it and stick your tiles onto it. IlI've read some reviews that were saying that this wasn't sloping but it is sloping and it did create a slope for me so I was very pleased. Good product I just wish it was cheaper. It's really just a little bit of styrofoam and fabric and maybe some glue. Kind of expensive for what it is however it does save a lot of work trying to throw the mortar into a sloping position and then waiting for it to dry.
