I actually use this chair as a regular chair around the house and not just for the shower. The chair is very lightweight and anyone with mobility issues can pick up this chair. This round style shower stool seems to fit better in my shower than other styles giving a bit more room. It is very nice quality and was easy to put together. It's very stable in my shower tub therefore I'm very comfortable using it.
