We got this for my mom as just a security in the shower, her leg been having issues and sometimes it’s hard for her to stand for a long time. This is great option just in case she needs to take a break without fear of falling or not finishing showering all the way. Now putting it together was a quest, there is no way o could of figured it out without my husband, but after all set and done it’s definitely great and most importantly gives me piece of mind knowing that it’s there for her in case she needs it.

This works outside of the shower too! My use for this shower seat isn't for the shower at this time though I think it will be very good for that use. After breaking my femur above the knee I need to use my arms to push off wherever I am seated when I get up, especially when I am sitting low. I have projects ahead where sitting low is necessary to spare my back from bending over since my knee doesn’t bend enough to squat now. Specifically, 1st project is touch up painting floor moulding. I like that there are already rubber like feet that will secure the chair on hardwood flooring and the suction cups for the shower are optional. I also skipped the blue foam seating and back rest add ons. The photo I have included is in highest position. The chair seat is very sturdy and was easy to assemble.

Only good things to say about this shower chair. It was easy to assemble and is sturdy to use. The seat is a set width so it might be too narrow you’re very hippy. I wear a XL/ XXL and it just fits comfortably. If I were any thicker, it might be a little uncomfortable. All in all, I love this chair… since I’ve been sick, this chair makes taking a shower a joy again. Highly recommend!

I actually ordered this chair to use on the swim deck of my boat and by the looks of it, it’s gonna be perfect. It’s well constructed, sturdy and nice looking and more importantly, waterproof. I have not yet tested how well it will adhere to the deck but I will this summer and report my findings in this review. Whether you are looking at this for your shower, boat or as a lawn chair, I say buy it for all the reasons I mentioned. It’s well worth the price!
