It is Made in China. The instructions are very poor English and difficult to read. It only has a one year warranty that might only be good in China, but hard to say due to poor English. But it is simple enough to figure out without instructions. It does not have a calibration certificate, but I suspect that is fine for my use. I will use it for DIY electrical work. NEC now requires a torque tool for all screw connections as improperly torqued connections have resulted in fires. I don't know how many electricians are actually using a torque tool. But using any tool is a huge improvement over the past. Only time will tell how well this tool holds up.
