Got for my 20’ above ground pool to replace the “toy filter and pump” that came with it. Excellent for this application. Keeps pool nice and clear all functions work well and really like the built in timer feature for the pump. Be prepared to adapt pipes and hoses to your application, not a direct fit for all pool types.

What we got circulates the water. The only negative is that the motor does not have quite enough oomph to keep our pool clear. Apparently a higher horsepower motor would have been better.

This pump and filter is such an amazing setup. It was easy to install and after only 30 minutes we had crystal clear water in our pool

Setup is pretty straightforward. The directions aren't very good if you're not familiar with pump setups. My only complaint would be the short electrical cord and I wish the hoses were smaller in diameter.

This pump is right size for my 1000 gal pool for the grand kids it's very quiet.

Well i didn't like that it didn't come with anything to connect with the pool. The plumbing will be an added expense and challenge for people who've never done this type of set up. Assembly required and the directions are weak at best. It's been set up less ten a month and the dial sticker is already tearing up. Sucker seems to pump though. I have a 22ft above ground and it seems to be filtering pretty well. Even with my not so professional plumbing. I give it four stars because of the effort i put into it more than the product itself.

OK that was annoying wrote two reviews, hit submit on the first and it submitted the second one and I need to start over! I bought this for one of my daughters houses. They have a big GREEN pond, to big for most pond filters and they sit on the bottom sucking mud. I didn't realize "Above Ground" pool pumps were gravity fed. So we had to get a little creative to get the pump lower then the pond. We dug a 30 inch by 30 inch by 32 inch deep hole. We sat the pump and 8 inch table under the plywood. It seems to be working great. This is a temp setup to make sure it works. If it does either we will get a inground pool pump or move further away from the pond. Because once the pond fills up again the pump will be under water! Good water flow, very quiet, east to setup (not the hole lol) and I really like the timer.

So far this pump has done a great job with our 14ft above ground pool. The pump itself is probably more than enough to keep water cycled. We had to get adaptors to connect the pool hoses to the pump, but after that no problems. I wish that we had gotten the pump without a timer though. The timer on this one, makes it where you cannot use an external timer, and once it's off, it's off until you hit the power button. We like to turn ours off on cycle, but the built in timer is one cycle only. So you choose the length of time, and it runs and shuts dow. Until you do it again. Unless there is something we are missing about the timer (but we read all the info) Otherwise, it'sa great system and we will make it work until it breaksdown. Then we will get the one without the timer.

Pump works really well. Instructions for assembly are minimal at best. Fortunately, there are several good \"how to\" videos available on YouTube.

Love this. Pretty easy set up if you do the research on how it works, i used youtube. Overall very happy with this and it has saved my pool!
