Was super simple to put together and the pads hide the screws so it looks like one fixed piece. After assembly it doesn’t make any rattling noises and there is no movement in any of the joints

I love this squat bar. Very comfortable

For the price, it’s a great bar! You get what you pay for and I have no complaints! Don’t expect a super high quality bar. It comes in three pieces that need to be bolted together. However, it definitely gets the job done. I gave it 4 stars because the bar needs collars or the weights slide off easily. I love the safety squat bar as an alternative to Front squats. Definitely an inexpensive price and perfect specialty bar for your home gym.

Great fit, able to squat with good form with out putting any pressure on the shoulders, have limitations in external rotation so until this bar could not do back squats

Very heavy duty, high quality, easy assembly, unbelievable value for the money. I'm very happy to have purchased and very pleasantly surprised. Would highly recommend. UPDATE: After my first use my opinion is cemented. This is a very well engineered piece. I can now, again allow the bar to sit back and low on my back, which is my preferred position to 'set' my back/spine alignment to my liking, regardless of my bad right shoulder.. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

For the average user of this squat safety bar, it is every bit as good as the more expensive brand name bars, but at a much more affordable price. Solid build with comfortable padding. I definitely do not regret getting this one.

Bar as described, and able to squat heavier than with a normal bar. I just wish the pads were thicker especially the neck pad.

I was accustomed to using the safety squat bar at my gym that was much more expensive and I gambled on buying this Vevor bar for my house but it paid off. I feel like this balances out even better on my shoulders to the point where it’s not even necessary to hold the handles. I initially started using this type of squat bar after a shoulder injury made it difficult to reach back to secure a straight bar. I realized that with the plates being shifted forward it allowed me to stand up straighter putting much less strain on my lower back when squatting. The safety squat bar is the only type of bar I now use for squatting to preserve the health of my lower spine.

Was skeptical to get this but pulled the trigger a couple weeks ago because it was $100. I've never had a bar come in 3 pieces and had to be put together so wasn't sure if it would actually be sturdy for heavy lifting. Turns out it's totally fine. This is one of the only \"cheaper' SSBs that the shoulders aren't way too wide, this one is the right width for normal shoulder width people that you can do Hatfield squats (hold onto the squat rack, instead of the handles, and squat with it balanced on your shoulders).
