first off - these are NOT the ones you want for a working garage floor, nothing will roll on them. They are soft like you may see in a waterpark or something. If you park in your garage and nothing else, they'd probably hold up fine for that usage. do not expect to roll casters across them. jack stands you definitely want plywood around.
I paid somewhere around $0.75/sqft on sale. Crazy cheap, i don't know how they made any money off these, especially with free shipping.
i bought these to put in my basement between my garage and main floor, mainly so any dust/dirt/grime falls into the tiles and doesn't get brought upstairs to the living area. They are already working great for that.
I have zero bad things to say about these. I've got 5 boxes installed and not a single flaw in any. Cut easily with a utility knife. Comfortable underfoot both bare foot and with shoes on. Look great. FAST installation, you'll spend more time moving shit out of the way than installing. Flexible enough that you don't have to worry about the floor being perfectly flat.
if i wind up with a surplus I'll probably put them in my shed, they'd hold up fine there too.
not sure what else to say. For a couple hundred bucks you can turn a grungy basement floor into something that feels finished, especially if you spend another $100 on shitty floor paint and slap it on first.
