This is a very nice ramp I'm very pleased with it it seems to be very heavy duty and also has slots where if you need to run a cord under it not a problem

Wheelchairs or other physical challenges - ease of entry!

This is actually the second one of these ramps we have purchased. Over a year ago we got one of these ramps for our garage, which has a 3\" step down. It was from another seller, but it is the exact same ramp, just with a different name stamped on it. It has performed very well, is perfectly wide enough to allow us to use our rolling coolers when we do our weekly grocery shopping. This one is exactly the same quality and construction. It is sturdy, strong, and does an equal good job at our step down from our back door to our porch. The only down side to this otherwise awesome ramp is that it stinks of vulcanized rubber. And it is a very very strong smell. The first ramp in our garage continued off-putting that smell for several months, and this new one is exactly the same. The first ramp gradually stopped stinking, but when we moved it once to spray out the garage, it started smelling again, but only for a couple of days. That is why it really should be stated that is ramp is ONLY FOR OUTDOOR USE. The smell will eventually go away, but I cannot imagine having to live with that smell indoors for any length of time. In conclusion, this really is a great ramp, and if you need one for an outdoor project, this is an ideal choice.

My husband is in a wheelchair and the threshold to our front door is 2 inches higher that the front porch - this spanned the height difference perfectly - we were even able to trim this back a little with a saw to make it fit perfectly. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. The hydrocarbon smell is strong but since we were using this outside it didn't pose a problem for us.

I travel every week for work and am always dragging my bags down the one step on my garage from the house, damaging the back of my bags and the wheels. This ramp is strong and sturdy and allows me to just smoothly wheel my luggage from the house to the garage without the drop. When you first unpack it, there is a new rubber smell but nothing an outside item would cause any bothersome issues inside the house. I love the channels where I can run a power chord under it, especially since it is in my garage. I would highly recommend this item. It is sturdy and of good quality.

I ordered this (and the 3 inch version) as a ramp combo for a riding mower, then I decided to cancel, but they were already getting ready to ship. I was flustered. But I'm now glad they arrived, and work perfectly for my needs. They handled the 1000 pound combined weight of me and my large lawn tractor perfectly, and never budged as I rode the tractor up and in. The traction and grip are great! I anticipate that these will last years, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!
