I used these with a slight modification to replace the heavy steel ramps on a 4 post lift. Perfect height and look like they will be durable. I wish someone would make a ramp of this height with a more gradual rise.
This pair handled my 45' class A like a champ! My motorhome is too long to maneuver into my home RV parking so I have to jump a curb to make a straight approach through my gate and this ramp system was absolutely perfect to make it an easy task even without securing it to the ground. No signs of deformation or stress with the immense weight it had been subjected to.
I actually used this as a dog ramp for my weenie dog ! She is so short and the new dog door we installed had a gap between the door frame and the porch . Put this outside for her to ease the transition in and out ! All the dogs use it now (small dogs) ! My only complaint is I couldn’t find one this size by itself. this comes with two ! I’d love the option to buy one instead. In the mean time I’m just going to toss the extra in the attic incase we need it! There is a really strong smell as it is rubber . I let mine sit for a while outside to air out before using .
These have been added to our front street which will not be re-done in the foreseeable future. They could not be secured but are heavy enough to stay in place side-by-side very well with little adjustment required. I do not leave them out over winter for fear of losing them to a snow-plow so I can not comment on how they function over winter months. This is a quality product that does not lose shape and is the perfect height for our curb.
We bought these for a house move that we did ourselves. We used them as ramps for the door to make it easier to pull the dolly in. Only drawback is they stink, very very strong rubber smell.
Little less heavy since split design and less solid
- This is a heavy and sturdy ramp of rubber. It is not as heavy as another I have due to a more hollow design underneath and split pieces, but it still has a good bit of weight to it. - For most uses you won’t have to worry about it shifting around on its own without anchoring it down. But if being used for vehicles you may want to. - The cable channel is helpful if any cords are needed to pass through, as well as for water shedding. - Non-slippery since it is rubber tread (top and bottom). - Versatile spacing.
I bought 2 of these for my shed, I was unable to use them, but not due to any issue with the product m, but rather my sheds design. These are very well made, sturdy, cost reasonable, and work exceptionally well.
