Stern drive aligment
I used the alignment tool for a quick check on my stern drive. This was the first time I had performed this task. I removed the stern drive unit, inserted the alignment tool with grease on the end so I could verify the spline marks. The tool worked as described. Very easy

Works great on Honda CB300
Split the case of a Honda CB300's engine with no trouble at all. No instructions but honestly anyone doing this kind of job should be able to figure it out.

Great addition to my toolbox
I've split a few cases over the years without this tool and let me tell ya this is the only way to do this job. Having a case splitter, crank puller/ install tool and a fly wheel puller is a must when rebuilding or servicing a small engine.

No more hasstle splitting cases for me.
Yes you can make one, but couldn't be bothered for the cost of a bought one. Would have preferred a machined point on the end of the screw shaft so it cannot wander off the crankshaft. Guess that would not be a serious problem if the cases are not too stuck.
