The sled is good for the price, however I would have gladly paid a little more to have the blank slider plate included. The screws that fasten the end plates should be a little longer. If you do not want the hassle of making your own router base plate Maybe the upgraded version would be a better choice? It would be great if they included an actual set of instructions for assembly and use. do not plane cross grain (very uneven planeing) only with the grain.

Easy to assemble, (if you have the instructions). Does not have mounting plate for your router. That's not necessarily a bad thing, It keeps the cost down. I had one made for $15. I would like to see them offer a plate with dust extraction reasonably priced.

good product bad tech support
product is good and I am happy some tightening parts were missing and support didn't come through in a timely manner - resolved at hardware store

Have not used it yet only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because there is no router base with the ys60-001 unit. There was no mention of this anyware in their advertisement. Otherwise, quality of parts look good.

It worked really good. The only drawback was the little bolts would work loose then the rails would move. That the only thing I have any trouble with. I would recommend this item.

Router Sled
I have been wanting to get one of these and my wife purchased one for me. Assembly was a breeze and I was milling lumber immediately. I do a lot of woodworking and this is going to save me quite a bit of money and make lumber pieces I save usable. Highly recommend this.

I needed a slab flattening jig to process a few tree cookies for bowl making but did not want to spend a lot of money. The construction is decent for the cost and it move smoothly as long as you keep the caster wheels clean. The router just slides on a 1/2" acrylic sheet that fits into groves in the rails and it moves pretty smoothly as well although a bearing mounted sled would be nice. Overall a good option for someone doing non-production work.

Overall Works Well missing Router base plate
I got this for Christmas 2022. It is missing the router base plate that rides on the rails. I find if I adjust the rails so the router rides on the lip the router hangs up.

I have a 31" bandsaw mill of which I mostly cut live edge pieces for counter tops and tables. Some of the harder woods I need to plane and this sled has saved me lots of time and money. I recently bought a table saw fence system to convert to a slab flating system however it didn't work out that well. After cutting this sled to a size I would mostly be working with it has served me well . I have made several counter tops and tables that have not only paid for the sled but has taken my wife and I out for several very nice dinners. Thanks Anyone interested in a slightly used table saw fence system you can contact me at caldwellrobert13@gmail.com

Well Worth the Money
I've been looking for a router sled for sometime now without spending a whole lot of money on it. I don't flatten a lot of boards so this was the ideal price range I was looking for. Assembling was fairly easy. The most challenging part was making sure that the side rails with the wheels on it was squared to the sled rails. I had to use squared pieces of wood I had made prior and clamped them down to hold the rails in place when tightening the screws. Other than that, it was easy and works perfectly on my squared 2x4 wood I use as a rail guide.
