It’s quiet!
Other than the noise of the contents being tumbled, this machine is quiet! It’s pretty sensitive to the weight so you’ll have to fiddle with it. I recommend this tumbler!

This unit works well and is great value for money. It arrived quickly after purchase with clear instructions on how to use it as well as the tumbling agents and a surprise gift of gemstones to begin my new hobby.

I love my tumbler, was only cheap but good quality. Only downside was only receiving small packets of the grit, but my daughter put me onto a great site, Aussie Sapphires to get grit at a good price.

Rock N roll
We are very happy with this tumbler. It's been running non stop for a few months now. We also have the next model, a bit more expensive with more features which is also great, but for us this cheaper one is all we need. More quiet than our lortone tumbler and larger capacity. Solid, quality build, brushes motor should run for ever. The only criticisms are that we have to run it on minimum speed as the rest are too fast for our beach agates. Also, not sure why, but it surges if there's not enough rocks, speeds up and slows down and can eventually stop with an error. But when it's full enough, I guess it's better balanced.

Nice
I like this rock tumbler. It holds less rocks then my other 3 lb tumbler, but I’ve started using it on a slower speed and it will hold a little more then on fast speeds, then I tumble a little longer.

Reliable
This is my third vevor tumbler, they have all been reliable, hardworking going 24/7 for years. No drive belts to break, as many settings as I could ask for. I’m a happy rock hound.

Rebuild it
The technology just didn't work. There's a reason why every other Tumbler is not a direct drive. but it can be made to work. The barrel is much better than the others, but here's how you fix it. If you want yours to work like a beast you have to change the gearing. The only way to do that is to put smaller wheels on the direct motor, I found some kitchen knobs that would work then you got a drill them correctly, 6.9mm maybe 6.8mm and how you fasten is up to you but then the barrel won't clear the motor so you need to buy half-inch wide by 1/4 inch thick rubber strips to go around the barrel to raise the rubber rails on the barrel. But wait, there's more. Ha ha now you need to bend the metal frame with some pliers to crimp it and pull it away from the barrel. It'll make sense when you start. you will destroy the motor if you don't take the wheels off carefully I used my 80 pound vise and smashed it till they fell off, I would recommend cutting them off so you put any torque on the motor bearings. Trust me it will break, well there you have it. when it said and done you'll have a beast of a rock tumbler.
