Doesn’t work for me because it doesn’t fit the size I need, however it is a great product if you need to close off an area.

These things are the best ever. I’ve tried multiple things to achieve what they do. Only 2 things that I have a problem with. The first is the bolts and the expansion sleeve included the sleeve didn’t want to fit in the size hole it says to drill. No big deal just had to drill bigger holes. Second thing is and this is not a fault with the product but I have several end to end to form a wall. There’s a space between the 2 locking posts and the handles that I needed to cover. But nothing wrong with the unit that’s just the way it’s made. And really no other way it can be

Keep your receipt and/or order information. When you get your order delivered, there is no packing slip and no description of what the item is. No dimensions. I ordered my retractable side awning months before I went to install it. Nothing that came with it said how tall it was, or how long it was when fully extended. I had to go into Vevor.com and look up my order to get the dimensions from when I ordered it. Instruction sheet was one page, and was obviously translated in English from its original language. Translation was poor. Item was good and heavy duty. It will work fine.

Installed today. All went well. Impressed with the quality. Used these 90° brackets from Home Depot to anchor to the deck railing as I didn't to anchor to my condo wall. This awning provided just the right amount of shade that we wanted.

I absolutely loved this item at first until I realized it wasn't as big as I thought. It doesn't completely cover the space I need it to cover. If only it were a few inches longer on each side, that aspect of it would have been perfect. My next issue is... On one side, the fabric is not tight at all. It constantly flaps in the wind. It looks bad and will more than likely end up tearing it up sooner rather than later. It is a little hard to get it lined up just right when you are trying to attach it to the pole AND, I did not notice at first that it was supposed to attach at the bottom of the pole was well as at the handle. It's also a little difficult to line it up right the first time when you're letting it wind back up. I usually have to pull it out and redo it at least once. There could very well be a trick to all of these problems, but I haven't figured it out yet. Overall, it will do for now I guess.

This slide away awning is a perfect deterrent when out of sight, out of mind works. We are using to block the view from the road when you don't need prying eyes to look into our warehouse. Sturdy, built well, this should last for the foreseeable future.

I used it to divide my closed sunroom in 2 sections, a gym and entertainment area, it blends perfectly with the furniture and flooring.

Looks good but the last few feet are hard to pull out. The recoil spring appears close to its maximum capability

Great product, better than expected, arrived on time, and looks great! The photo was taken a little prematurely - since then my husband has leveled out the bottom and the screen is completely smooth and straight!!
