These threaders work very well. I would highly recommend them. For reference, they will not thread a quarter inch bar. It Hass to be the right size.

Worked perfectly as described, I cut a lot of threads for my workshop airline system and it did not let me down, It is built of sturdy cast and cut perfectly, tip keep pipe to be threaded well lubricated and should last a long time

Great tool to have to be able to fix threaded pipe issues - great value for price. Not justified to buy the expensive versions if you don't use it commercially so ideal to have in the workshop for capability when needed.

We love this product but need a replacement for bit after using three pipes it seems dull or worn. But we did have great success with for the first two. Recommend highly.

USE PLENTY OF CUTTING FLUID AND TAKE YOUR TIME! I can't stress that enough. You can catch and filter your cutting fluid and recirculate it so you aren't going through so much of it, if you take your time and don't force it and use plenty of cutting fluid it works. I used this for running black iron LPG piping. Used gas approved Teflon tape and also gas approved pipe dope and not had any leaks. Threads were smooth without any issues. Two turns in and two turns back then continue forward again. It's not like the commercial thread cutters so do understand that this is for lighter use but it does work and it works well and like everything else keep it clean and maintained!
