I was skeptical, but the kit allowed me to do a piping job in my shop with no issues. I did take the head apart and filled it with grease before using this item. used lots of cutting oil as well.

I needed to cap of 6 pipes, 4 @ 1/2” & 2 @ 3/4”. I didn’t want to invest too much into the tool as this is first time I’ve needed to do this in 15 years working in the trade & maybe will never need it again. I was pretty impressed with the manufacturing of the tool out the box, seemed solid. For the job itself, I read the instructions & got to It. It done a perfect job, with a bit of lube as suggested it threaded the 6 pipes with ease. System is on, there’s no leaks so I’m happy. Rental companies wanted the same price to rent as it is to buy.

If you are not a pro like me and only need to do the occassional thread cutting job, this works great. I cut 20 1\" pipe thread to make some 'pipe furniture' with cheap floor flanges. It was hard work but this tool got though it. Get some cutting oil.

Got this for a friend so I don't know touch about it, except that he was very happy with this product and that the quality an value was exceptional.

Easy to set up and use. Cut the threads very well. The vice required to prevent the pipe from slipping as you cut the threads was a limiting factor.

Great tool for treading pipe with easy handling. No bulky parts, cleaning equipment and putting back into box made so convenient.

Good tool, it works fine, only amateur users should be careful about this, it needs to stay lubricated all the time, and when pulling teeth, I recommend you to do half a turn and remove the burrs after pulling one turn, you will pull teeth better and the life of the guide will be longer, good luck.
