For being so low in cost I was expecting something subpar, but was pleasantly surprised at how easy to use and effective it is. The only negative feature I’ve found is the hinge on the lid could be less loose, as the log doesn’t always sit down evenly, but it’s not a major problem. All around a great product for the price it’s at.

I love it. It keeps me entertained and it offers me a good distraction from the everyday drama and bullshit that the world we live in tends to offer. I give it 4.75 stars.

Overall, quite happy with the quality and price and in the end, service. HOWEVER, Does NOT ship with a regulator to fit Australian Standard POL cylinders, so not plug and play. Minor thing, 2 of the 3 lugs holding the insulation in the lid were broken off and loose in the box. Refractory cement supplied is barely enough, especially if you do the lid, (probably should not have in hindsight), but not mentioned anywhere in the manual to do or not. I used a 1kg tub of air set refractory mortar from Bunnings (about $25) that finished the supplied mortar very nicely. So for Australia factor in a new 30psi regulator and hose and adaptor and you will have a spare reg if you ever move to America PS Was almost ready to send a much less flattering review but... Vevor has reached out and offered a partial refund that I hope will cover the replacement parts

So this kit is pretty damn good! Only thing is you will want other tongs for the crucible for lifting and pouring

very quick delivery, well packed. The only bugbear is the manual. While fairly informative it has no information on how thick to apply the supplied cement or how to apply. Once this is added to the manual it would gain extra stars.

I bought this for my husband for valentines day and he loves it! He got into melting aluminum and casting ant beds and it's so much better than his homemade foundry. The only cons is the crucible is already cracking and wearing down. I really thought it would last a lot longer. Other than that I have no complaints at all it came so quickly. Way before it was scheduled to arrive. Works great and very convenient for fields with no electricity since it's propane fed.

Very well made, the instruction leave you to your imagination. but with a little playing they work great

It does a good job, lots of heat build up inside, as it should. A place to get replacement insulation when needed. I see a little wear on the bottom. I have used it for gold, brass, aluminum, and lead. Works well...

Received it quickly and and all was packaged very well nothing broken very easy to put together the only issue I had with it was the mold that came with it was nothing more than a toy not big enough to do anything with unless you are melting silver or gold but the the crucible would be way too big to be able to pour into the tiny mold
