The cap is not completely sealed which allows beer to get inside of it. It is sealed enough that makes it very hard to remove the trapped beer. I have tried many times and have been able to remove most of the trapped beer, but the beer that remains trapped creates a strong vinegar smell which affects the taste of the new beer. I can’t see where the beer is getting in and/or where it comes out when I shake it. The issue appears to be caused because the cap screws into the inside of the growler compressing the liquid and pushing it into the space inside the cap. If the cap were made to screw on to the outside it would not create the compression that is causing the problem. I like the unit overall, you just have to drink the new beer quickly in order to not have the taste change.

Excellent quality especially for the price and works perfectly. Very easy to clean and transport, machining and fitment of components is a very high standard.

This product works as advertised. It’s a good system for carry a gallon of beer. I wish the tapper handle and spout would sit out further from the keg itself. It’s a bit tight when filling a glass. Not terrible, just a bit annoying. Still worth the money.

Filled this about a dozen time now at my local brewery (fill it without the tap/ gas assembly on top using the cap only, genius). REALLY enjoy pouring my own fresh beers over the course of a friday night. Works great, no complaints!

We love our mini keg cocktails on tap all summer long. We just show up at parties with it filled with a pre made cocktails travel mugs and ice! Tip you must use it around 1-2 psi or it doesn’t work proper

Bought these to split my brew batches. They work great. Tap faucet can be used on other regular tap fittings but regulator threads are not standard.

This growler/ mini Keg is fantastic. I keep it in the bar fridge and get to get a draft beer anytime I want it also keeps the beer or cider for much longer if you use a CO2 cartridge. If you plan to not keep it in the fridge or want to travel with it I would get the double walI one. I will be getting another in the future.

Quality, ease of use, affordability and appearence are of great standard. personally have used it numerous times to bring alcohol to gatherings when intending to only bring just the right amount, the 5Lt capacity makes the "growler" a great option for having booze on the move. I for one am very satisfied with my purchase
