Very useful tool for installing/removing bush

This kit provides a wide range of sleeve sizes for removing or installing bushings. Some smaller bushing sizes mat not be covered. Spacers are well made, solid, and have end caps for using pulling rods. The threaded rods for pressing or pulling bushings are well made with ball bearing thrust washers on each end that reduce the effort requires to apply pressure. This is great when working away from a workbench like on a vehicle, for example. Kit sleeve components can also be used with a hydraulic or arbor press for bushing work. A great handy kit to have and at a great price!

I used this tool to press in several bushings into a suspension knuckle and press in the wheel hub to the bearing on my Honda Element. It worked well with hand wrenching though it was a tough slog. The strong point of this toolset is not the screw thread press function but rather the range of press and receiver sleeves provided. The sleeves seem very tough and are useful even with a real shop press and cover a wide range of sizes. The threaded rods and nuts are soft and probably would not last long in a professional setting with daily use, but for a DIY they are a great solution. Overall great value. You will be hard pressed to buy tools at this $/pound rate. Inclusion of the brake caliper hanger hooks is a nice addition.
