very useful for peeling a sticker or label off a roll and holding it ready for you to snag and place. I got mine and wasted quite a few labels playing with it, because its also somewhat entertaining, so expect to waste some stickers for the "new toy" factor, and it takes fine tuning to set the knob for how much the sticker or label actually sticks out past the edge to get it just right. On mine, I took a small square of blank label, cut a hole in it, and placed it around the distance knob so I can mark the settings I use and write what each one is for so that I can easily switch between them. if you don't have a label printer then masking tape or taping regular paper on it should work for settings notes on the knobs.
