Looks good, better than my prior one with sprockets made of three pieces of steel
I am wondering however, how come the sprockets have been assembled in a non-symmetrical manner? The rounded part is on the outside of one and inside the other.

Moving heavy objects is a breeze
This winch is awesome, it does the job and I like the option of an easy pull using two hooks or just one. The only issue I found is attempting to loosen the spool to remove the cable. There are two latches that need to activated and it can be very difficult with only one person. Highly recommended.

Good product but does have its flaws.
Well made, but I'd suggest to not rewind cable to far - it will fall off the spool and get trapped in the frame resulting in a painfull disassembly experience. I used this to fell a badly weighted tree next to property line, hinge cut first, then secure rope to two thirds the total height of the tree, winch to apply pressure, then do the felling cut. £1200 to fell a dodgy tree? Nah mate, I'm sorted.

Better than my others
I've only used it once, to pull down a tree, but I found it easier to use than my other comealongs. The pull length is not great when you use the pulley to double the force, but I knew that from the reviews going in. The most important thing was releasing the tension was a bit easier than using my old comealongs and the cable did not overlap and kink like on the old comealongs. Still, they (all manufacturers) need to figure out an easier way to release the tension in comealongs. I recycled my old comelongs and will keep this one.

Still holding up.
I have used it in cutting a tree down, hauling small logs, pulling a boat up a steep incline and other general yard work. I have yet to reach max load however. So far so good. It does have a tendency to want to twist, so it bears watching while using.

Good for occasional use
If you use a come along on a regular basis, you probably want something better. But if you just need one every now and then, this is more than adequate.

Very powerful
This come along as an extremely powerful. I have been using it to rip up dead tree stumps from my yard. Also the customer service is excellent if you have any issues or questions with the come along.
