Great portable option, but heavy when full
I've used a number of camping toilet options. As a car camper, I figure I can afford to waste a bit of space on a luxury like this. Typically I use folding toilets with bags, but I decided to try something a little more close-to-home. This is a really cool piece of kit with the way it can flush and empty later. It's compact, but holds my fairly-heavy weight quite well. My only complaint is really about how heavy it is when full. When you take it out you obviously have to fill it with water for flushing and water is quite heavy (if you didn't know). In addition, if you \"use it\" and then have to fill the water tank before you can empty it, then it gets too heavy to comfortably lug around. It does a good job at keeping out smells; nothing is perfect, but it does just as good a job (if not better) than the double-sealed toilet bags I use which--even though double-sealed--do leak some smell. The carrying case is a nice addition, but I worry a bit about the longevity. It's a fairly simple bag, and while the straps are robust the bag they are sewn to are a bit less so. I will use the bag, but I will probably not carry it by the straps unless empty.

Nice Product
The Camping Toilet arrived on time. It is packaged very well. I have not used it yet, will give an update in the future. Therefore giving 4 stars until update.

Not just for camping
This is great for people that go in the middle of the night and would rather not go to the bathroom. And now that I have this I wish I had it when my daughter was little. We had a two hour commute daily and I hated going to gas stations… I hated asking “how long can you hold it.”

Comfortable enough & flushed every time
This toilet works more like a real toilet than most portable units, having a clean water tank and ‘dirty’ water tank. It’s pretty much a portable version of a toilet you’d find in an RV and I like it a lot more than other portable toilets that utilize a bag; there isn’t any lingering smell and much less potential for leaks and a bad mess. In any case, as far as how it works - it’s great. I’m not quite sure how it’s creating the water pressure from a simple pump mechanism, but it flushed every time and it’s much more comfortable to sit on than my old portable unit. It’s a bit of a luxury and not nearly as portable as the folding bag-based toilets, but for car camping it’s pretty great when paired with a privacy pod and I’m glad we have it. We’re in Florida, so we’ve also added it to our shed that has our emergency hurricane supplies and kit in it. Highly recommended both for camping and hurricane season/emergency preparedness.

Easy for travel
Light and easy to use. It's enough for a couple days of camping comfortably. Not too terrible to empty

Cadillac of portable toilets!
Talking about toilets is not something I typically enjoy doing, but sometimes it's necessary. This VEVOR Portable Toilet is eons above the rest! I am not saying that lightly. This toilet is set up so that you don't ever have to see or smell the waste. It utilizes water for flushing and it separates the toilet and the tank by a lever that allows the waste to go down and then you close it. There's never any icky toilets top because of the water that washes it out every time you flush it. When it's time to clean it out, there's a long tube on the back that you shift outward into the receptacle and out it goes. They've made something that is just nasty, scary and gross; be a livable - not so bad, process. Now that I've seen what a luxury portable toilet is like, there is never any going back to the old style. Anyone that has to use a portable toilet for any reason has got to try this toilet. They've also made it easier on you by adding a carrying bag so that this bad boy isn't just out and about while it's taking it to the receptacle. Like I said; eons above the rest!

Pretty standard camp toilet - good quality
While a camp toilet isn't really something you rave about - this one is a nice one. It's kind of the Rolls Royce of camp toilets, ( at least from my perspective since I am just an occasional weekend camper ) rather than just a static bucket - this one actually flushes. It's well made, sturdy plastic. Has a large storage capacity, but not so heavy that you can't lift it. It has an easy swivel dump spout. Seems to be sealed pretty well and has a vent plug if needed. I haven't had to clean it yet - but it looks like it should just rinse right out.

Perfect size for our camper van!
I am in the process of building out our camper van and wanted a potty for emergencies and middle of the night needs. This one is the perfect size for our build. It’s there if we need it, but doesn’t take up too much precious storage space. I’m 5’8” and about 155lbs and I’m ok, but I think it could be a bit small and unsteady if you were much bigger. We have not had a chance to actually use it yet since we are still finishing out our build before our first major trip, but the instructions seem straightforward enough. We’re *planning to just use it for number 1, so hopefully it won’t be too difficult to empty and clean.

Excellent portable toilet
This high-capacity portable toilet offers easy operation and solid construction. It will be useful for tent campers and small recreational vehicles that don't offer toilet facilities. I ordered this toilet to replace a much older similar toilet that's been used in my ancient travel trailer for years. This one is a serious upgrade at a price not much different from what I paid more than 20 years ago. This is a high capacity job. The clean water tank holds 3.2 gallons while the holding tank is 5.3 gal. That's a lot. Starting off with a full clean water tank adds more than 25 pounds to the total weight, and don't even think about filling the holding tank before dumping. That's 40+ pounds. One gallon of fresh water provides more than 30 good flush pumps. The circular flow is pretty powerful, which is not always the case with toilets like this. Getting a clean flush with this system is pretty easy (see video). The holding tank rotating drain outlet makes dumping the tank much cleaner than other models I've seen. That's important. Splashing the holding tank dump is unpleasant, to say the least. Please note the size of the seat is smaller than the typical home toilet (see photo). It fits children and small people quite well, but if you are large it might be a pretty uncomfortable fit. The unit is designed to handle 400 pounds of weight, but the seat size might be an issue. My one grumble with this toilet is the handle on the pump valve is slippery and difficult to operate. It works, but it's a bit of a struggle. It's also on the left side of the toilet, so righties may find it a bit awkward to use. Small gripe. Not a deal point at all. Bottom line (pun intended): this portable toilet is well built and should provide years of service. It's easy to use and easy to clean. I like it.
