Great Value! I have been using this softener for a year now and the bang for the buck comparison to other softeners is well spent.

Build quality is really good comes with lots of extra parts, functionality, very simple and easy to put together, no smells or odors, durability seems to be great. I highly recommend buying one if you’re having hard water issues at your campgrounds. I noticed the difference on day one I highly recommend this water softener.

This softener is better than the $3k one for my house. I’m going to buy 4 more, two spare and one for my cabin and tiny cabin I rent out.

I got this due to hard water in our campground. This is well water and not great because it leaves spots on stuff and wears out the anode rod in our water heater. I found out immediately after hooking this up that soft water makes your hair feel cleaner after showering. Who knew. This was easy to install and does it's job right away. totally worth the money.

For a portable system it does a good job. It's heavy but durable. It's easily connected and the supplied parts are of good quality. Definitely doesn't leave a spot free finish, but I live in Indiana where the water is extraordinarily hard. Make sure you regenerate often. At about .$0.63 a container for iodized table salt, $1.26 every month isn't a wallet squeeze so the half hour or so it takes to do it is well worth the benefits to do it once a month or so. I've noticed a large reduction in calcium build up on my faucets and sinks in the RV, my hair feels softer and soap actually suds now! I connected an in-line sediment filter just before the unit and a charcoal filter on the other side and have good tasting water in the trailer. For detailing work, I still need to squeegee or wipe down a surface but if it dries on it is easily removed now, whereas I would need a chemical to remove water spots prior to its use. All in all it's a good unit and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a portable unit.
